Living Like Jesus
At Mission Driven Church, one of our core beliefs is that following Jesus means living like Jesus. But what does that really look like? Is it about perfection? Rules? Rituals?

The answer is simple: it’s about reflecting Jesus’ heart in everything we do. Here’s how we can live like Jesus in practical, everyday ways.

1. Love Others Radically
Jesus didn’t just love people who were easy to love—He loved the outcasts, the broken, and even those who opposed Him. Living like Jesus means loving others the same way, no matter how hard it feels.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” – John 13:34

2. Serve with Humility
Jesus demonstrated servanthood when He washed His disciples’ feet. He showed us that greatness comes from serving others, not seeking recognition.

How can we live this out? By looking for opportunities to help someone in need, whether it’s big or small.

“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” – Matthew 20:28

3. Forgive Freely
Jesus forgave even those who betrayed and crucified Him. When we choose forgiveness over bitterness, we reflect His grace and mercy in our lives.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean ignoring pain—it means choosing to release it and trust God with the outcome.

“Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” – Colossians 3:13

4. Spend Time with God
Throughout His ministry, Jesus often withdrew to pray. Living like Jesus means making time for God through prayer, worship, and reading His Word.

Start small—set aside 10 minutes a day to talk to God or reflect on a Bible passage.

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” – Mark 1:35

5. Share the Gospel Boldly
Jesus never shied away from sharing the Good News. Living like Him means stepping out in faith to share the hope and love we’ve found in Him, even when it feels uncomfortable.

This might look like inviting a friend to church, sharing your testimony, or simply living in a way that points others to Jesus.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations.” – Matthew 28:19

6. Live with Compassion and Grace
Jesus didn’t condemn the broken—He welcomed them with open arms. Living like Him means showing compassion, offering grace, and being a safe place for others to experience His love.

A Journey, Not a Destination
Living like Jesus isn’t about being perfect—it’s about progress. It’s a daily choice to love, serve, forgive, and trust God as we reflect His light in our world.

Let’s walk this journey together. At Mission Driven Church, you’ll find a community that encourages and equips you to live like Jesus in practical, impactful ways.

Are you ready to take the next step? Let’s do it together.
